The Results

The company's 'most reliable network' claim is based on network studies performed by real-life test men and test women who conduct more than 3 million voice call attempts and more than 16 million data tests annually on Verizon Wireless' and other national wireless carriers' networks while traveling almost 1 million miles in specially equipped, company-owned quality test vehicles. Following is information about testing conducted in each region throughout the country.

Midwest Area

Great Plains Region
In the Great Plains Region, Verizon Wireless' most reliable national wireless network claim is based, in part, on Verizon Wireless network reliability studies comprising more than 34,574 call attempts and 49,453 data tests quarterly on Verizon Wireless' and other national wireless carriers' service throughout the Great Plains Region while traveling on more than 13,621 miles of the Federal Interstate Highways, US and State Highways, and primary and secondary roads passing through both urban and rural Areas as defined by the United States Census Bureau.

Illinois/Wisconsin Region
