NOBLE Phone Collection Drives

The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) is launching its third annual fall HopeLine phone collection drive at chapter locations nationwide. Visit the NOBLE Web site to find out if there is a chapter in your community.

San Diego Family Justice Center Receives $40,000 Cash Grant From Verizon Wireless

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Verizon Wireless Regional President Luis Cruz (far right) presents a $40,000 HopeLine grant to San Diego Police Chief William Lansdowne and city officials, accepting on behalf of the San Diego Family Justice Center. The grant will help the increase the center's capacity to manage the needs of a rising volume of clients, support direct client services such as transportation and help recruit and train more volunteers.
